Weston Emergency Medical Services

The Weston Emergency Medical Services is an all volunteer Advance Life Support Service that is located in The Village of Weston in Northwest Ohio. The service is owned by the Village of Weston and was started in 1975 as a basic county operated service. In the early 1980's Wood County turned the service over to the village. In 1997 certification was issued to the service to provide Advance Cardiac Life Support.

The service is responsible for the areas of Liberty Township, Milton Township, and Weston Township, including the villages of Custar and Milton Center located in Milton Township, Rudolph located in Liberty Township, and Weston located in Weston Township.

The coverage area of the combined townships is 87.8 square miles. Total population listed in county records of the year 2008 is 5295 persons. The service is also part of a county wide mutual aid contract.
